English abstract
This article will present a new soft tissue cephalometric analysis tool. This analysis may be used by the orthodontist andsurgeons as an aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. The analysis is a radiographic instrument that was developed directlyfrom the philosophy expressed in Arnett and Bergman “Facial keys to orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, Parts I andII” (Am1 J Orthod Dentofacial Orthop 1993;103:299-312 and 395-411). Este artículo presenta una nueva herramienta para el análisis cefalométrico de los tejidos blandos. Este análisis puede serutilizado por el ortodoncista y el cirujano como una ayuda en el diagnóstico y el plan de tratamiento. El análisis es uninstrumento desarrollado directamente a partir de la filosofía expuesta por Arnett y Bergman en “Claves faciales para eldiagnóstico y planificación del tratamiento ortodóncico.
